These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lake Intel, including the website at lakeintel.fish and any related services (the "Service"), provided by Lake Intel LLC ("Lake Intel," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Lake Intel provides anglers with pre-scanned sonar imagery, waypoints, structure data, and related fishing intelligence for select lakes. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and is intended for recreational and informational purposes.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase paid features. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lakeintel.fish if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

All content provided through the Service — including sonar imagery, waypoint data, written insights, maps, software, and the Lake Intel brand — is the property of Lake Intel LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Some features of the Service require payment. By purchasing paid features, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method. Prices are listed at the point of purchase and may change at any time, but changes will not affect features you have already purchased.

If you create user-generated content within the Service (e.g., your own waypoints, notes, or trip logs), you retain ownership of that content. You grant Lake Intel a limited license to store, display, and process that content as needed to provide the Service to you. We will not publish your user-generated content publicly without your consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LAKE INTEL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Sonar data, waypoints, and structure information are provided for informational purposes only. Underwater conditions change. Lake Intel makes no representation that any waypoint will hold fish, that any depth reading is current, or that the Service is suitable for navigation. Do not use Lake Intel for boat navigation. Use marine charts and a depth finder for safe operation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAKE INTEL LLC, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lake Intel LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, or damages arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms other users or Lake Intel. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@lakeintel.fish. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
