When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. We do not collect your real name unless you choose to provide it.
When you purchase access to a lake or other paid feature, payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We collect basic information about how you use the Service, such as which lakes you view, which waypoints you save, your approximate geographic location (lake-level, not GPS-precise), and basic device information (browser type, operating system).
We use your browser's local storage to save your session, your saved waypoints, and your preferences. This data lives on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you sync it via your account.
